Calif narcotics agent alleged of advertising drugs
AP MARTINEZ, Calif. AP — A California narcotics agent who has overseen hundreds of drug investigations has been jailed himself on suspicion of advertising drugs.Norman Wielsch, who headed a drug task force dressed in Contra Costa region, was arrested Wednesday on felony counts allied to the distribution of methamphetamine, marijuana and steroids, according to the state chest of downer Enforcement.State drug agents moreover arrested Christopher Butler of pact, a hush-hush investigator accused of conspiring with Wielsch, of Antioch, to retail narcotics, officials thought.The two men, both 49, were taken into arrest subsequent to a month-long investigation by the office of tranquilizer Enforcement. Wielsch has been placed on outstanding leave, believed agency lecturer Michelle Gregory.
